With a choice of well-fitted and equipped narrowboats sleeping from two to eight people you just need to decide which suits you and where you want to cruise. North from Rugby is quite rural and almost lock free whereas a trip south takes you down to the Grand Union Canal - a bygone ’highway’ of a canal! Excellent territory for a variety of short breaks; you will be spoilt for choice and well serviced with pubs and ancient countryside.
