Set within a beautiful woodland area, Garnffrwd Park will immerse you in the lush, fertile countryside of rural Wales. Surrounding the picturesque lake, well equipped cottage and pine lodge accommodation acts as the ideal base if you fancy doing a bit of exploring. Wildlife abounds in this unspoilt destination, which seems to have remained the same for a very long time.
An old mining village, Pontyberem sits within the Gwendraeth Valley in South West Wales. Carmarthenshire itself has often been known as the "Garden of Wales" on account of its exuberant agricultural resources. Within the Park itself, fly fishing opportunities are available, as is bird watching. Alternatively, you might be tempted to just drink in the sumptuous surroundings on a leisurely walk.
The Gwendraeth Valley is home to a wide ranging selection of sites of historical and natural interest, including castles, rivers and of course charming rural towns and villages.

"This was our first holiday with Hoseasons and first trip to Wales. Cerrig Cottage in Garnffrwd Park where we stayed was absolutely fantastic. The surroundings were beautiful, tranquil and picturesque. The cottage itself was immaculate, very clean, warm and very, very cosy. The welcome we received on arrival was very warm. The owner James was incredibly friendly and helpful and gave us advice about local attractions, places of interest, good cycle routes and general information about the area and nearest supermarket etc. We would recommend this accommodation and look forward to returning sometime next year to further explore Wales and the cycle trails."
