Based in the lovely village of Alyth, which has an ancient heritage of its own, the complex is well placed for getting to know this exciting region. Alyth is believed to date back to a prehistoric time, and features an impressive selection of relics and ruins, as well as popular myths and legends to that end.

"Beautiful surroundings, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Without doubt one of the best holidays we've had. Would highly recommend this park to anyone wanting a chilled out, relaxing holiday. "

"This holiday was great, caravan interior was fantastic & the decking around allowed for lovely nights sitting taking in the beautiful countryside. Really nice country walks in a great location if you're looking for a peaceful getaway. Absolutely therapeutic!!"

"We had an ideal quiet peaceful holiday. The caravans are well spaced out [not in rows] and the whole ambience of the site was welcoming. The couple who manage Nether Craig were very friendly and always stopped for a chat and were happy to give any information asked. There is a lovely forest walk around the caravan site, well worth the effort. Will certainly be paying another visit."

Review: An ideal park for peace and quiet, and to get away from it all but families would be advised to look elsewhere as there are almost no facilities on site. The shop is rarely open (just 1 or 2 hours per day) and has little stock, and the childrens play area consists of a swing and a slide, which may be enough for the youngest kids. There is a football area hidden in the woods but many families will be unhappy about letting their kids wander alone into this area, so will decide to accompany them. There are a lot of open, grassy areas elsewhere on the site, and although the owners keep it a secret, ball games are not allowed and you will only find out when you start to have a kick around (in my case with a 75 year old man and a 9 year old boy) when they rush up to you and tell you to hop it! The site could be so much better with a less draconian regime and a few more facilities. We stayed in one of the Craig Lodges which is very nice although there is only 1 toilet for 6 people, and we did have problems with door locks not working propery, low water pressure and intermittent hot water. The owners were made aware but did not find time to fix these things before we left.
