Set within picturesque rural Suffolk, Abbey View Lodges comprise an ideal getaway for families and couples alike. Their location at Leiston serves both as an idyllic retreat and as a practical base to get a feel for the wider area.
Perfect for rural walks, you can explore the ruins of the 14th century abbey, as well as the nearby historic towns and villages. Along the coast you can step back in time in the fishing villages and towns, complete with Tudor style houses, or you can simply enjoy the beautiful beach landscapes.
The lodges themselves strike a satisfying balance between modern luxury and natural relaxation, providing every convenience you could need, but within timber lodgings that are respectful of their surrounding environment.
Within the wider area you can get a real glimpse of medieval England, in any of the many charming towns, perfectly framed by stunning Suffolk countryside views.

"Excellent central location offering easy access to Aldeborough, Southwold. Walberswick etc. Many interesting local walks - ie the ruins of Leiston Abbey being accessible across open fields no more than a mile away. Lots to do for kids and families - Africa Alive wildlife park in Lowestoft; the great beach, the pier and powerboat trips at Southwold; living history at Sutton Hoo, Aldeborough, Saxmundham etc; the more natural charms of Minsmere, Dunwich and Walberswick. There are also great reatsaurants within easy reach - the highly rated Lighthouse in Aldeborough, The Swan, The Crown and Tilly's in Southwold, The Bell in Walberswick and The Crown in Westleton all no more than 15 minutes by car; these and many more lovely local watering holes offer an irresistable opportunity to sample the wares of the fabulous Adnams brewery at Southwold."
