Surely some of the most romantic scenery you’ll lay eyes on, Cumbria boasts an uplifting backdrop for a holiday. The many holiday parks in this magical area offer you a great choice in terms of the type of break you’re looking for, with lodges, caravans, bungalows and apartments all available to accommodate you.

Naturally it’s the Lakes that this area is most famous for, and tourists travelling from all over the world come here to experience first hand the sights that have inspired so many writers and artists over the generations.

The Lakes have so much to offer visitors, whether you fancy a little adventure with a spot of watersports, or want to take things slowly and soak in the magnificent natural environment. Historical attractions are also generously scattered across the area, from castle to railway via the Wordsworth Museum and Beatrix Potter’s famous house.

As if all that isn’t enough, Cumbria is also home to some of the most glorious stretches of coastline in the country. The landscape here is dramatic, with the extreme sight of the cliffs complemented beautifully by the idyllic sandy beaches.
