"If you want a quiet peaceful holiday this is definitely the place to stay. The accommodation was truly first class. We received a lovely welcome and were provided with a welcome pack of provisions which was much appreciated. It was a real treat to have a large TV and comfortable beds. Fishing right from the lodge is fabulous and it is a great place for dogs as there is plenty of land for exercise on the site. "

"The lodges at Winkleigh must be in one of the most peaceful locations imaginable, and it is just a superb place to recharge your batteries, whether or not you are an angler who can take advantage of a well-stocked lake that you can fish from your bedroom window! The orchards add to the sense of getting away from it all, and although it takes time to drive anywhere, the countryside is beautiful. Our lodge was very comfortable and well-appointed throughout."
